The Gateway To The 380 Million Consumer Market Of The East African Region

Focus Africa'2010, Tanzania International Trade Exhibition is the largest trade event held annually in Tanzania, the hub of the vast East African market. Focus Africa'2010, Tanzania is all set to present over 10,000 products, equipment and machinery from over 30 countries. The number of exhibitors and visitors in 2010 is expected to rise by at least 20% since an aggressive campaign has been launched. Trade visitors from all over East & Central African countries are being invited directly and in collaboration with several regional trade bodies in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, Mozambique & Zaire and many more. The exhibition attracts exhibitors from more than 30 countries and visitors from all over East & Central Africa, thus giving exhibitors an excellent opportunity to explore several countries in one time.

Over the past few years, Tanzania has emerged as a major regional trade centre. This is mainly due to a very friendly and business like atmosphere it offers to foreign investors and products. Duties are considerably low and re-exports to neighbouring countries are either very low or exempted.
