INTRODUCTION

Kenyans have a voracious appetite for education with thousands traveling overseas each year to universities and other institutes, while thousands more attend the country’s own rapidly advancing universities. Education & Career Fair'2009, Education & Training Show has become an established feature of Kenya's educational calendar, allowing educationalists to meet with potential students and their families or to acquaint themselves with very latest educational trends, services and equipment.

Kenyan in particular and East African, in general, have continued to regard education and training as a priority, allocating in excess of a quarter of it’s massive annual budget supporting this sector. Recently there has been particular emphasis on training and vocational guidance to create a more diverse career direction. Housed in the prominent centrally a/c Sarit Expo Centrel, situated in East and Central Africa's biggest shopping Mall, Sarit Centre at Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, entrance to the exhibition will be open to educationalists, students and those with an interest in education. Education & Career Fair’2009 will also feature e-knowledge, effectively bridging the ill-defined demarcation between conventional education and the latest digital techniques.
